This is just too cool. From the privacy of my own computer, I can watch the news on French TV. If you’ve got a good connection to the net, this is one fast streaming link, extremely high quality. My French isn’t even very good, but I find myself spellbound watching the latest news from Paris. This is one of those “in the future, we’ll be able to…” moments.

Nice page with lots
Nice page with lots of information about The Gospel Of Thomas, one of the ancient Coptic texts found at Nag Hammadi. His disciples said to Him, “When will the Kingdom come?” Jesus said, “It will not come by waiting for it. It will not be a matter of saying ‘Here it is’ or ‘There it is.’ Rather, the Kingdom of the Father is spread out upon the earth, and men do not see it.”

Speaking of Baron Samedi
Speaking of Baron Samedi (see previous post), it may interest long time readers of the Star Chamber that Mr. Saturday is based on the voodoo character Baron Samedi. He’s a mischief maker who deals in the world between the dead and the living. I love the fact that his job in the voodoo rituals is to disrupt the ritual itself.
